I love this new bar & been in every week since opening. I suppose i would just like the lights to be a bit dimmer and maybe more chairs and comfier ones should be around. |

I have visited this pub on several occasions since its opening and I absolutely love it. Firstly the location is perfect - Victoria Square has been crying out for a really good pub on its periphery and now it has one. Second, the selection of beers is amazing. I asked "Have you any strawberry beer?" and the lady behind the bar brought three different types and explained what they were like. Finally, I love the fact that you dont do food but are happy for people to bring their own - so grounded. I'm coming in tomorrow night with my brother and respective better halves as he is mad about the continental beer thing and may even do an article on my blog about this place. See you then guys keep up the good work! |

Hi Eileen, It is correct that we let you bring your own food in. We can provide plates, cutlery and condiments. We do also have a range of drinks apart from beer. Wine, spirits, ciders etc. |

It's an absolute joy to see a new pub opening in these difficult times. Especially a proper ale pub! I expected the old Royal Mail to stay shut. I shall pay a visit soon! |

Just heard about this Pub, am I right in thinking you can take in your own food? Is is just beer or do you sell wine as well? |

De Molen! Now you're talking my language. Please can we also have some Struise (especially Pannepot); some Belle Vue Kriek, Framboise and Gueuze; Drie Fonteinen (if they have restarted their brewing operation); Tilquin Gueuze; Bayerischer Bahnhof Original Leipziger Gose; some Berliner Weisse, probably Schultheiss; Girardin Gueuze (black and white label); some Alvinne products; Andechs' range; Schneider Brooklyner Hopfen-Weisse; Kernel; Revelation Cat; and last but not least - Westvleteren. That will probably do for now. Ta |

What a great little place. I enjoyed a lovely pint of Freedom Stout and my better half had a fab half of the Orchard Pig still medium cider. Fortunately I'm up from Herts. every fortnight and we're certain to visit again. Good luck for the future & Cheers! |
